This is a older image which I took back in December last year. My goodness how time has flown. I took this image into the sun overlooking the tea plantation and as you would expect there were quite a lot of lens flare issues (due to my fault for not cleaning the UV filter before taking). That is certainly a lessons learnt experience
The image pretty much speaks for itself, it was very serene, calm and the tea was rather fresh and tasty.
This image is comprised of a 6 portrait shot stitch, and it took 6hours to get there.

I recently traveled to Sydney with my wife for her birthday and with permission, she allowed me to take my camera with me
This is just one of the shots I managed to shoot near the base of the Harbour Bridge. When I was taking this shot (30 seconds is a long time to wait) there were sooo many wedding photographers snapping away and I can understand why. I mean seriously with a back drop of the Opera House I think it is a definite must for newly weds who live in Sydney to have this in their wedding album!!!
Anyway this is my take of the Sydney Opera House which I am sure there would be photographers out there who would have taken it with the exact same composition
I guess it is like Perth’s most photographed boat house the “Blue Shed” hahahaha well not as iconic though

Take 2. After reviewing the image I have decided to rework it, fortunately I took 2 images exposing at different levels. This time I did an exposure blending to bring the detail of the rock back into the picture. Thank goodness for photoshop

This shot was taken from a bridge looking towards St. Paul’s Cathedral. Guess I don’t really need to say much about the scenery since these are the main attractions to London and to be honest I can’t remember what bridge I was on when I took it. All I know is it was a bridge leading to London Waterloo station. Took this photo to try out my new tripod on panoramic view. White balance was set to “Shade” on the Canon.

Here is me trying out a totally different technique of showing off the colours covering the grounds of Stockholm during autumn. This image was never intended to be a “tack sharp” image rather an arty way of showing off the colours. A view of the world through the eyes of a still camera that is unfocused and in motion.
Love it or loathe it I guess.

What you see before you is the Stockholm skyline looking from the south island of Södermalm. This magnificent view of Stockholm was shown to me by a local Lars Bromander who so graciously offered to show me around the old part of Södermalm. Nothing beats local knowledge of an area.
Unfortunately the skyline of Stockholm is filled with cranes, public work and construction in Stockholm at the moment, must be a prospering city
I am not sure how this panoramic image will pan out on the monitors, as the title says it is a panoramic and it will be very wide I am afraid. I had to reduce the image quite considerably.

This is an image I uploaded on the dcmag Photographer of the Year competition. Since I had to do some work on it I might as well add it to my blog to show that I am still working on images.

Here is another go in displaying the power of the waves down in Margaret River. After some critism of the previous pic, the waves are now white!!! I have also brightened this image, I must admit, the previous take was a bit dark.

After reporting from London, time to report from the city I was working for 2 weeks. This is the view I got to go home to every night after work. Nice views but because the days were getting longer I had no choice but to close the blinds every night. It starts getting light around 3:30am
