Unfortunately I have not been able to update my blog with any images. I have been removing a former umbrella tree from the front yard for the past 3 weekends. Tomorrow I will be on my way to Stockholm via London for 1 day. Hopefully I will be able to catch some opportunity to shoot some scenic shots. We’ll see what happens.

It has really been quite a while since I last uploded anything in this blog. Reason is I was out of the country. I recently went to London and its surrounds then proceeded to Sweden for 2 weeks on business. Now that my feet are firmly grounded for a while I will have more time to upload some photos.
Check out this stitch of the London Eye. It is a scenic photo that has been ‘done to death’ by every photographer who have witnessed it :) but anyway this is my take on it. It is a 7 photo stitch. See what you think. :) London Eye and Aquarium.jpg

While waiting for my dear wife to get her dose of hair treatment at Fringe Benefit… To be honest not sure what women generally do to their hair :)
Anyway I gave myself a challenge of shooting something exciting around the grounds of Curtin University. First stop Curtin Lake mind you the sun was setting rapidly, mind you at the end of day light saving in WA it gets dark very very early. So here is my take of the lake in Curtin I have also played around with photoshop to try and make it into a poster type presentation :)

That is the common phrase used on Krissy every day…. no wonder she is sulking. Krissy was lying in the corridor staring at Puzzle’s bowl.

Feeling very energetic tonight. After playing with aperture and trying my darndest to learn a new software, this is what I managed to produce without the use of photoshop. I am actually quite proud that I didn’t revert to photoshop for this manipulation. This is a shot of Puzzle our dear “old” doggy. Still active as ever even though he is 16 years old now.

As mentioned in my previous blog “Fremantle Festival” where I said I was going to upload some more pics of Fremantle… well here is something worth looking at. I took some photos of an old pier (if that is what it is, I am sticking to my story anyway :) ) that used to be in the old whaling station in Fremantle, at the water’s edge of the Round House in Fremantle. The idea behind this collage (not sure what the term is for this grouping of images) is to take similar themed images and add them together in the post processing. So this is my first attempt in doing it. fremantleformerwhallingstation_resize.jpg

Went to Fremantle over the Easter weekend with the hope of capturing some buskers in action during the Fremantle Busker’s Festival http://www.fremantlefestivals.com/main/html/info_sa.cfm

Unfortunately the streets were crowded which is really good for the festival organises but bad for me cause I didn’t come home with any decent pictures show casing the telents of the buskers. Oh well will have to try harder next year I guess.
scottspresberterianfreo_resize.jpg So instead of posting buskers in action I might as well post some shots of Fremantle. Starting with this church. I will post more as I process more photos…

Apparently I don’t take enough photos of Puzzle. That is according to Kamila. So here you go I have taken 2 pictures and both showing what he loves most these days in his old age. :)

Managed to wake up early morning on Sunday due the day light saving change. Best thing to do for a want to be photographer is to take some dusk shots… Having said that… I was utterly dissapointed with what I have taken and decided to post this as a B&W rather than the coloured version.

After taking some sunset shots I looked behind me towards the jetty and saw the purple sky with slight rays… this is what I captured!!! Unfortunately the image is very soft.
